BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

SKYE DANIEL

Skye moved to Vancouver from Alberta and when she did she found herself being picked on by some pretty tough kids. When she couldn’t take it anymore, her father introduced her to Okichitaw – Aboriginal Martial Arts. That led her to kung-fu, karate, tae kwon do and aikido. She has many years of training, competition and teaching.

SKYE: You want kung-fu, karate, tae kwon do or aikido? Or do you want Martial arts to be part of you, like breathing and eating? I can do both for you – One will make you strong; the other will make you powerful.

EMILY CHANG

Ms. Chang started training in martial arts when she was 5 years old. Her first teacher was her adopted father, who wanted her to be safe and happy. Ms, Chang brings a positive attitude, dedication, self-discipline and many years of experience and training to Skye and Chang Studio. She can communicate with every student regardless of ability or experience.

CHANG: I can jump higher than a giant but my heart is humble – like my teacher taught me. Oh, forget all that mystical stuff. We have over 40 years of training between us – and we aren’t even 30 yet.
